“Duruşu düzeltmek en
büyük amacımız. Doğru duruşu yakaladığınızda, ki bu uzun süreli bir
amaçtır, her şeye karşı doğru durmaya başladığınızı, kendi çizginizi
yakaladığınızı, tutarlılığınızı oluşturduğunuzu farkedersiniz. Bunun
sağladığı güven önünüzde hiçbir engel bırakmaz. Sırt, güç ve hafızanın
doğru kullanımını temsil eder. Güçsüz bir sırt, insanı yok edecek sürece
sizi sokar. Somut görüntüsü, kireçlenme, ağrılar ve kaymalar; duygu
dünyasında ise güvensizliktir. Bu, başka birçok olumsuzluğun da
kaynağıdır.”

The
East and the West are two wings of our combination; and its depth is
Anatolia. The land that brought up countless philosophers such as Diagon
and Aristotales;
the land having matured with grief; the land that is peerless with its
delicate, endless shores and life diversity.
Our
arm extending towards East carries the whole mystery and wisdom of
existence in its palm. In the gardens reached, it watches silently the
world’s crazy haste. It knows to be contented with its being. Everything
it values; the stars, the trees, the sunset, the historical works of art,
is free -priceless.
Our
arm towards West watches the big and small universes through the hands of
technology. It sees conceived images on paper. And watches the reflections
of reality in its projection…It learns to arrange, transmit and renew
them, discovering the methods and speed.

While, our depth –profundity gives us the secret of clarity; the gifts of
open scopes, generosity and sharing. Every time we turn to it, it would
point at each other. “Share”, it says, “Love and trust in love”. Love, its
connective power, becomes an answer to every question, like a big secret
being told.
Unlike modern life dream of, the human is far more than being only an
individual. His bonds connect him with his history, land, other people and
his nature. If you are to make a real change in human development, you
must first see and discover this unity.
Meditative Dance focus on the relationship between sequential and
intuitive halves of our brain. The right brain is directed towards the
Whole; it is inspired by the Nature and overjoyed where creative energy
and feeling intensity exist. Left brain, on the other hand, symbolizes the
chained intelligence; thinking sequentially from part to the whole. It
values short-term human development and Matter.
Right
brain breeds the intuitive mind. Magic and miracles are the products of
it. It is our other-half involving the sense of meaning and unity as well
as the harmony of feelings and the world of energy. It’s the base of our
every thought regarding spirituality…

The
human intelligence, rising in the modern age against Nature and emotion,
has developed a sort of consciousness, which values the individual and
sublimates human mind as opposed to Nature. Having declining the intuitive
mind and coveting the Matter for improvement, the human being has the
psyche of part with its sequential mentality.
The
Male and the West, symbolizing the Left Brain, and the Female and the
East, symbolizing the Right Brain, are forces indicating the concept of
duality. Male represents the part; for him, action and power are
essential. While, Female values the Whole, meaning and harmony.
Quote
interprets the word individual as indivisible duality. It is the
transversal unity of this indivisible duality.
Meditative dance takes its roots and philosophy from the dance of Sufis.
Existential unity (vahdet-i vücud) found its place in human intellect and
was defined by Sufism long before the scientific discovery of energies and
harmony. Long before genetics found that every living-being used the same
genetic code, they told each of us about dispersed energy and the peerless
harmony that unity holds. With dynamic meditation, Sufis laid the grounds
for energy concentration, by combining the consciousness Yogis found in
stability with the movement of Earth. They were feeling deep inside that
the energy is dispersed and that we are all a part of each other and the
Nature.
In
Meditative dance, what we do is to develop the Left and Right hemispheres
of our brain with a integrated approach. Feeding our intuitive mind with
Eastern disciplines of Yoga and Meditation, which have the deepest bonds
with Nature, we use Western disciplines of Classical Ballet and Modern
Dance to develop our chained intelligence.

“Duruşu düzeltmek en

All
the great thoughts leave their traces on Body. The actual peculiarity of
East and
West and the way they complete each other can
only be understood by examining the relation between the Body and Mind.
There are points of blast in the education of Body and Mind. While
intuitive mind exploded with
Yoga, the intelligence exploded through
Classical Ballet following the Enlightenment.
As we comprehend the contribution of these in our existence experience and
individual development, we can unite the parts that form us.
With
Eastern techniques we advance our research on
“human as a being”,
obtaining concentration, elasticity and harmony. Experiential methods
being developed for centuries by observing the Nature, before all, help
“the human as a being” discover his power. This way do we realize the
Nature’s interlace passing through us. We realize that the glitters of
stars settle in our eyes and that we have, in fact, this knowledge
recorded far deep inside.
The
modern science, appreciating the one-way development of human brain, has
dragged us into a brand-new life. We discovered that human, far from
existing as “a being”, is an intellect that can give a meaning to this
existence. The point of blast in human intelligence,
Classical Ballet, the
product of Enlightenment Age, exalted human against Nature. It started out
with the thought that human can dominate his nature and perfectly train
his body. Acquainting with Classical Ballet you may understand the
determination of modern thought. Esthetics and perfection are defined in
Classical ballet forms.
Observing the variety of these forms in your body, you get fascinated with
human mind’s ability to systemize and its sequential intelligence. The
feelings of justice and perfection the human hold towards the nature are
worth preservation.
Articulated upon the research on “human as a being”, your journey of
discovery continues with the research on “human as a human”. Here you meet
the “whole” of values which the society agrees on, as well as the pride of
human intelligence, while your body obtains physical condition and power.
With body-mind coordination, you acquire the ability of realization and
reach at unlimited creation energy.
Imagine a person lying at full length on Earth. His head is the West,
while his abdomen the East. The West thought over and systemized the life.
Where, the East united with existence in the womb of universe, shedding
light on the being. And we, the Anatolia, are his heart. Connecting these
two, joining and uniting the opposites with Love… We are his heart,
protecting the existence and re-producing in every beat.
Science, despite its material approach and denial of intuitive mind, has
finally reached at the truth. The
harmonic existence has been confirmed by
the most exciting branches of chaos philosophy, the fractal geometry. In
fact, fractals, Nature’s symbols of perfection, have always been alive in
the imaginary world of human. The “ore” of Greeks, the “essence” of Sufis
and the energy, all point out the same concept. An integrated approach
carries us inside a universe created with feeling and survived with
intelligence, which claims us as a part of it.
Having sheltered many many civilizations with its own insight and helped
them live for centuries, Istanbul acts as the cradle of democracy. There
are always roads from here to both East and West. As we search for our
essence, the first thing we discover is our complexity. And then, the keys
to integrate this mixture with harmony. And this key opens for the entire
world the door of re-approaching existence with excitement, the sense of
reality, the harmony and Peace.
Meditative dance, having born in our city that brings cultures and
religions together, is a journey of thought and experience between the two
continents.
